NATURAL HABITAT
Natural Habitat is a stop-motion short film about another bad day for a busy bear and a rascal racoon who wanted to take advantage of him. The film begun production in March 2020 and went until June 2020. Due to stop-motion being very hands-on and a collaborative effort, the film was cancelled due COVID-19. I am extremely honored to have worked with such a dedicated team of four through all our trials and tribulations.
Character Exploration
I mainly worked on Ronda the Racoon from sketch to animation. Unfortunately due to the cancellation of the film, the final puppet never made it onto the final stage. However, I was able to document my process from my living room floor.

Motion Tests
All puppets were casted in foam with a wire skeleton. Ronda the Racoon was specifically rigged to have a removeable tail due to the extreme use of her tail This way, if her tail breaks in the middle of animating, it could easily be replaced.
